When my beloved Teacher Shri Param Eswaran asked me to write an article about the upcoming 3 &7 Day Para-Tan
Healing Intensive I got right to work. The problem is that two days and six pages later there is still so much more to
say. But whatever may be said, it must come as an affirmation from the inner guru of the people who are destined to
join us May 16th-22nd. You must listen to the wisdom and guidence in your own hearts. Those who come to
experience the profound healing of Para Tan and hear the Sacred Teachings of the Wisdom Goddesses must crave
change so passionately that they surrender to divine grace and with humility ask how their lives may serve the Universe.
There are no beliefs, sets of dogma or theology which must be swallowed. The powerful Sounds of the Universe
translate into every language through the love, joy, peace, harmony, and connection which emanates from each being
with their nadis open and their Mt. Meru activated. The courageous beings who heed the call of their soul to
awaken into their life’s purpose already have experienced a shift in their lives and there is no where else
to go but within to discover the inherent divinity lying latent and aching to blaze again like the sun.
I’ll never forget when I first journeyed to India to meet The Father of Para Tan. It was the red and white serpent that
visited me in my cabin bathroom that finalized my decision to go. Each of us have synchronistic experiences and
reoccurring thoughts that are the messages of our soul coming to light. Myriad ancient texts, myths, symbols and a life
long series of dreams lead me to cross reference “Serpent Goddess” and “Tantric teacher training in India” on google.
The incredible doors and portals that opened for me upon reading the various intricate web sites on Shri Param and
Para Tan intriqued me irresistably and still clutchng to the thread of my western programming I carefully explored the
labrythian maze of web pages. All of my life I have sought healing and empowerment. Gifted with twylight vision in my
dreams, I cross-referenced dreams with myths, legends, symbols, stories, and texts throughout time and across many
cultures. Both the dreams and the wisdom of the ancient mysteries spiral into one truth: To heal and to be healers; To
be empowered and empower others to heal and empower themselves and others we must come to a solid
understanding about the Serpentine force of our sexuality and the part it plays in the Divine dance of our souls and
Living Goddesses and Gods.
When I first met Shri Param two years ago he assured me that people who have the inner strength and courage to
come to him to learn, have already spent many lifetimes as spiritual seekers. He looked right through me, back through
the ages and it was as if his gaze grabbed a part of me that was hiding in a dark corner lost in time and yanked it into
broad daylight into the present moment and set it next to his ever present red tea cup on the table between us. “What
took you so long?” I thought I was doing well to get myself there at the age of 30 but with his characteristic piercing
gaze, Shri Param brought many of my secret thoughts flooding to the surface, again, for me to view. How many times
had I lain in agonizing mental, emotional, and physical pain, praying to be released? How many times had I reached yet
another breaking point in a relationship and like a sunbeam breaking through thunder blackened storm clouds, in a
light moment among many months of despair, laughed to myself, “Well, I could just give it all up and move to an ashram
in India.”
You have the opportunity to participate in the magical experience of the continued presence of a Living Master for 3 or
7 days without having to “give it all up and move to an ashram in India.” All you must give up is that which chokes your
soul, the western conditioned ego. The practices and teachings one may receive from Shri Param are like
being given new life, the true life our souls are meant to live.
The Mayan Calendar is a great gift to humanity because it is a grand map of the spiraling wheel of time, which finally
makes its final curve inward in 2012 when the dualistic constraints or our mindset will no longer prevent us from
experiencing the Divine Source as present in each moment and every being, without time. We have always had a
relationship with Our Source and with each other like nerve cells In One Great Being. The new life that one may
receive from Shri Param includes simple practices that make the experience and feeling of Oneness, light, peace,
harmony, and bliss a reality. Although the following subjects will be covered and experienced, truly the only
prerequisite is the desire to change and the willingness to serve the Universe as a divine being and share love through
the resonance of your voice.
